Online Exhibit from the Tate Modern

I read the Torygraph for the football coverage -- no, really -- but some of the articles that are linked to via sidebars are pretty interesting as well. There was an article today about exhibits of photographs by Diane Arbus (of whom I had heard) and Jeff Wall (of whom I had not).

In any case, the Tate Museum has a fantastic on-line capability of excerpting elements of the Jeff Wall exhibit. It turns out that his pictures contain elements of well-known paintings, and the Tate website has a feature that allows you to look at the pictures as well as placing them side-by-side with the paintings that they draw on. Very cool, and a reminder that I should remember to set the bar for surfing a little higher than the latest football results.
