Last year, R and I were horrified at how much we had bought for the children for Christmas. This year we scaled back, partly as a matter of principle and partly to contain the cost of shipping toys all over the United States.

 

Unfortunately, my parents and my brother didn't get that memo. Unfortunately for me, rather, but not so much for the girls.
