Engrish
I was just chatting this evening with a friend who had been in Japan for a couple of weeks with her family -- a trip to the ancestral motherland, as it were, even though she is from Hawaii. She sent along some pictures afterwards, with the warning that most of them were of temples and cherry blossoms, with the occasional sample of Engrish (English as modified / butchered by non-speakers in Japan).
My favourite: "in case of emergency, flee forward in arrowed direction." That has a certain fluency about it that transcends literal translations.
