busy, but quiet
Nothing much to report. Work is increased lately due to deliverable deadlines. Clients are needy, no change there.
Rr is walking up a storm -- she's all over the place. Would only that she slept. L is driving me nuts because she's so like me: very routine driven. E.g., tonight's fit over violations of the protocol over who squeezes what kind of toothpaste onto her brush (grown-up or "spicy," me; kid, her). It's a good thing they are both so charming.
Unrelated note: can you spot the misplaced government priority?
1) The city is talking about using sales tax and a bond issue to raise $200 million for the local public schools, which are falling apart -- literally. (It's so bad that several school board candidates in the last election were professional real property managers who wanted to address the deferred maintenance issue).
2) The city council is also talking about capping the expenditures on the new baseball stadium at $611 million (that's risk -adjusted, for you program management geeks out there, but still...)
And they wonder why people with school age children move, at least those who are fortunate enough to have the money to move.
