wake up!
I just nipped over to another building to get a cup of coffee. That got my attention; it's supposedly 28 F / -2 C outside, but it feels colder. It actually wouldn't be a bad day for a walk as it's very crisp and sunny.
When we first moved here Decembers seemed to be mild, but not this year and last. I think last's December's finest "if this is global warming you can stick it" moment was when we brought Rr home from the hospital and it was 18 F / -7 C with a wind going about 30 mph for an effective temperature of -12 F / -24.5 C.
Quite a change from her sister the summer baby who came home on a day when it was perhaps 98 F, effectively 103 F with the heat index... (that's 36.5 C and 39.5 C respectively for those of you keeping track in countries where metric civilization rules).
