I've been reading accounts of the heatwave(s) in northern and western Europe, and being truly baffled that day-to-day, DC was actually a little cooler. Not today though, boys and girls, it was hoooooooot. I went out at about 8.30 p.m. to get carry-out and it was, according to my car, 34C / 92F. After dark. Toasty.
