We're making small headway in getting ready to move, by which I mean R is making headway. She is purging "stuff," we've had a handyman in to fix some persistent irritants, and bids on painting the interior are on the way.

Somewhat distressingly, the house I liked last weekend is still on the market. Perversely, I'd rather it be sold before we're ready to bid on something because I'd rather miss out on the opportunity than end up deciding against it...

Anyway, notwithstanding a request to support a proposal that I'm not all that interested in, things should be quietening down enough at work this week that I can sneak out and get some things done around the house. Hope so, anyway.
