priorities out of whack

I was at home unwell today -- someone from work actually gave me shit about it because of perceived inconvenience to her (none, actually, thanks for asking, but you don't need to re-arrange your day). Always a fun way to conclude a conversation where you're being grilled about your symptoms to see whether or not you are malingering.

Bizarrely, since I was only physically incapacitated, I got far more done than if I had been at the office.

And on the award-winning parent front: R and I kept wondering why the baby smelled funny all day. Turned out that when she had puked slightly in the morning, a tiny amount ended up inside the collar of her shirt, and we hadn't noticed. Now that's quality parenting.
