The Sandbox

Slate.com has started to sponsor a lightly edited blog with posts from US troops in the field and in the US. Having spent some time reeling at the "politics" of the people who comment on milblogs, or uncensored personal blogs from military personnel, I was curious to see what kind of material was posted.

It's never less than interesting - and since there are plently of people who would like you to believe that they are speaking for the troops, I thought it might be worth linking to the posts from the horse's mouth.
