baa!
Well, another weekend enters the history books.
We met some friends of R’s at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. R maintains that the children are spending too much time in the city, and they need to see the outdoors, livestock, etc. I didn’t have any better suggestions.
L bolstered R’s view: we were on a country road heading to the festival and L asked, “Is this a real road?” Not helping, dear.
Anyway, the kids enjoyed the sheep dog trials, and patting various lambs and goats, and R only had to field one question from L about rams’ danglers. (My rendition, later, of “Swing low, sweet Cheviot” didn’t amuse R as much as it did me…)
So aside from the ridiculous lines for lunch, not too bad.
Yesterday was a bit of a waste, but the girls did get to see their great-grandparents, so not a total waste.
